BIO
Laura Tilus-Korhonen is an artist, born and raised in the coastal line of Finland (Espoo, Kokkola, Turku, Helsinki).
Laura's early life was full of free play, and curious exploring. She was introduced to seeing the beauty of nature, as well as art and built environments, by her parents. Later on Laura completed a Master's Degree in Education to become a Fine Art teacher for grades 1 to 12.
Moving to the US was a big change in her life; from teaching others, she now started to take classes again for herself. She has been living in the Boston, DC and LA area.
Laura's interest varies from oil and watercolor paintings, to ceramics as sculptures, prints and mixed media, and public art works (mural). Laura is always ready for new things and challenges.
